The weather is perfect right now for sleeping, studying, reading, drinking tea, etc. All of which I have done today. And yet, somehow, I made pathetically little progress on the one thing I meant to do today: my Colloquium essay. (Why do I assume I will actually get things done any sooner than the day they are due?)

 My hobby: going to the Vietnamese sandwich place near my house to buy a delicious tofu sub ($2.70!) and try a bizarre foreign drink. I've tasted pennywort juice (a little like celery or parsley or snap peas, weirdly refreshing but also vaguely gross) and chrysanthemum tea (sweet, mild, flowery, much as you'd expect of the name), but they also have ( Read more... )
